Houston, We have a Problem

Never a good time to choose just when to come back down to earth, I never adjusted to weightlessness, suspended like my own pre-birth, takes more than a leap of faith to space-walk through this culture, you need to understand the past before you redefine the future, open your eyes to the clear blue skies and you’ll be open to my story, take a walk in the meadows of the incredible space beyond, reach behind the reflection, you’re convinced is so familiar, a trick of the light that seeks to hide the truth that you have yet to know and I’m ready and willing to share it but for now there’s just one problem, coming round one final time before I slow down for re-entry, there’s really no way out of this, can I find a way to land her gently, no room for manoeuvring, there’s just no margin here to fail, but I could be the first one to make it back to tell the tale, try suspend hardened disbelief, hang around to hear my story, take a stroll through the vastness of the shimmering great beyond, see behind the reflection you’re convinced is so familiar, a trick of the light that seeks to hide the truth that you are soon to know, cause I am ready and willing to share it but for now there’s just one problem.
